I grew up surrounded by the echoes of my family’s past. My mother’s experiences during the Second World War were never just stories; they were truths that shaped us.

Years later, I knew I had to honour her journey, and the journeys of so many like her, by writing LILIA.

This story is personal. It is legacy. It is love.
